A naming ceremony is very special event where friends and family gather together to celebrate and welcome your new baby to the family and community. It is predominantly a non-religious ceremony although religious content can be incorporated. There is no legal aspect to this type of ceremony and can be held wherever you like. Ceremonies can be held at a venue of your choice and is totally unique and bespoke to you and your family.  It can be in your home, in the garden, in a park, in the woods, at a hotel or at your local community centre.

As a trained celebrant, I am able to give you guidance and write the service for you or simply MC the ceremony in the celebratory style you require. I can spend time getting to know you and your family so I can conduct a ceremony which is personal and meaningful and discuss promises, readings, poems, rituals and music you might like.
